Hello and welcome to the new Cardinal Wolsey website, which as you can see is very different to the old site. Like this site, we are also in the process of making many other changes with the view of improving the quality of your experience here. Don't worry, we're not changing everything, just the things that need it, so there's still the great live music, fine real ales and fabulous pub food, but all in a brighter refreshed interior with friendly management and staff.

We are having live music on both of these nights with a distinctly party atmosphere in the house, not to be missed! Come back for more info soon.

Live Music - Live music is a big part of what the Cardinal Wolsey is about, featuring live music at least four nights a week.
Monday night is Jam Night, hosted by Jam-Pact and fronted by a different feature artist each week. 8.30 - 11.30pm, admission FREE.
Thursday night is Rock'n'Roll night. Admission £2.
Friday & Saturday nights feature the best of the local covers bands and blues artists playing a mixture of classic rock & pop, blues, blues-rock, funk and more. Admission £2.

Very soon we will be introducing a new menu of fresh mouth-watering dishes and of course, some old favourites. To give more variety without having an unduly long menu, we will be running two menus that alternate weekly. Come back soon to check out the new menus.
